Updated review
I need to clarify I did pay the amount per contract when it was due. However, roofer added more money without my consent and placed a lien. To make matters worse, I asked roofer to fix leaks, I still have every time it rains, according to guarantee and they refused. This company deserves zero stars. Warning!! American Roofing as bad as it gets.

My roof had leaks, it was old. I contracted American Roofing which provided me with an estimate of $13,275.15. I signed contract for $13,275.15. When it was time to pay, which it took a little bit longer since I still have leaks on a new roof, I was totally shocked to have an increase of $ 6,185 to that original amount I had agreed on. Not only did they increase a large amount without my consent or knowledge, they placed a lien on my property. Do not use this company, they are taking advantage of customers and elderly females like me...and my roof still leaks
